Playgroup at Kidhood is designed as a child’s first experience of a structured preschool learning environment outside the home. Our Playgroup programme supports children from approximately 18 months to 3 years through age-appropriate play, stories, music, movement, creative activities and guided interaction.
Children gradually become familiar with classroom routines while developing early communication, social, physical and cognitive skills. Our educators provide a warm and supportive environment that encourages children to participate, explore and become increasingly independent at their own pace.
Social & Emotional Development — Confidence, interaction and cooperative play.
Communication — Listening, expressing needs and building everyday vocabulary.
Physical Development — Movement, coordination and fine-motor skills.
Cognitive Development — Early recognition of colours, shapes, sounds and numbers.
Creative Development — Music, drawing, rhythm, sensory play and exploration.
Independence — Simple routines and age-appropriate choices.
Our Playgroup programme gives children time to settle, explore and build confidence in their first preschool experience. Through consistent routines, playful learning and caring guidance, children develop a foundation for their next stage of early childhood education.
Playgroup is a gentle introduction to structured learning, helping young children build confidence, communication and independence through play, exploration and interaction.
