Building Confidence for the Next Stage

The Junior KG programme at Kidhood is designed for children between 4 and 5 years, providing a structured and engaging environment where children can strengthen their early academic and developmental skills.

Through stories, conversations, hands-on activities, creative experiences and guided learning, children develop greater confidence in communicating, thinking, exploring and working independently. Our approach balances foundational academics with play, movement and social interaction.

Preparing for Senior KG

Junior KG helps children become more confident and independent learners while strengthening the foundational skills they will continue developing in Senior KG.

Through structured routines, guided activities and meaningful interaction, children are encouraged to learn, communicate, think and explore with confidence.

The goal set for our play school’s Nursery program is based on enquiry, hands – on teaching and individualised instructions. We aim to teach them how to interact with one another using play – way methods. We crave to develop imaginative skills in all the activities the children are exposed to. Kids at this stage learn the sounds made by letters to form words. Stories are told on the interaction of letters to form simple words. Activities at this stage include, identification of numbers and letters, correct usage of action words and vocabulary development among others.
