The Nursery programme at Kidhood is designed for children between 3 and 4 years, supporting their growing curiosity, communication and independence. Children are introduced to a structured preschool environment where learning happens through play, hands-on activities, stories, music and guided interaction.
Our approach encourages children to participate, explore and learn at their own pace while developing the social, language, cognitive and physical skills that support their continued preschool journey.
Children experience a variety of age-appropriate activities that encourage:
Language & Communication — Building vocabulary, listening skills and confidence in expressing ideas.
Early Literacy — Introducing letters, sounds, stories and simple word formation through playful activities.
Early Numeracy — Developing number recognition, counting and basic mathematical awareness.
Social Development — Encouraging cooperation, sharing, communication and positive relationships.
Physical Development — Strengthening coordination, movement and fine-motor skills.
Creative Development — Supporting imagination through art, music, role play and hands-on exploration.
The Nursery programme helps children become increasingly confident and independent while developing the foundational skills needed for the next stage of preschool education. Through caring guidance, structured routines and meaningful play, children are encouraged to discover, communicate and enjoy learning.
The goal set for our play school’s Nursery program is based on enquiry, hands – on teaching and individualised instructions. We aim to teach them how to interact with one another using play – way methods. We crave to develop imaginative skills in all the activities the children are exposed to. Kids at this stage learn the sounds made by letters to form words. Stories are told on the interaction of letters to form simple words. Activities at this stage include, identification of numbers and letters, correct usage of action words and vocabulary development among others.
A structured early-learning programme that builds language, numeracy, creativity and social skills while encouraging curiosity, confidence and independent learning.
